Ship Control System

All controls and instrumentation required for the safe operation of the Maritime Innovations Air Cushion Vehicles are located in the wheelhouse and SAMPICS integrated bridge system is installed for ease of operation. Maritime Innovations has developed SAMPICS integrated control station through comprehensive and extensive experience in the design and implementation of military and commercial vessels. 

The wheelhouse of Maritime Innovations ACV is positioned on the starboard foredeck. Its interior is arranged with an instrument console and seating for the operator on the port side and a navigation area with seating for the navigator on the starboard side. Immediately behind the operator and navigator seats, at the aft end of the wheelhouse are two additional crew member seats and an emergency escape hatch through the aft starboard wheelhouse window. Wheelhouse access gained from the cargo bay via a set of steps. All seating in the wheelhouse is damped to ensure maximum operator comfort and reduced fatigue.
